Greetings & Salutations,
I am a 40-something Steampunk & Neo-Victorian Lover as well as being a Writer-Poet, Mum, Wife & yes I am a Witch. The Steampunk Witch in fact. I incorporate my love of things Steampunk into my Daily Magickal Living. It is eccentric & eclectic but I like it like that. *cheeky grins*
It, my being a witch, is not me following a new religion (ie; wicca), nor is it "just a fad" I am in nor is it anything deemed bad/evil/sinful, etc by those in the status quo or the so-called mainstream religions or belief systems.
The Craft or Witchcraft is an Old Path and one I walk seriously whilst also laughing at myself when I make a gaff. Just as I do in the other areas of my life. So just FYI, I am a Spiritual Being who lives by a code of ethics that are quite old in fact. These ethics of mine go a-ways back to my Irish & Scottish Celtic roots as well as my Native American roots.
I am a Home School Mom, considered a veteran by many, for I have taught all 3 of my daughters and now just have the youngest to help finish educating. I truly love being a SAHM and please do not ever think that I do not work just because I do not get paid by a cheque. It, Stay at Home Mom-hood is a FT career choice. One which I chose ages ago and have thankfully been supported in & by my husband of almost a quarter century. I have 3 daughters (ages 23, 22 & 15).
I am an Arm-Chair Activist. I have certain physical & health limitations and conditions that do not allow for an active lifestyle of marches or picketing. Not complaining here, just stating facts & my reality. Thus I do what I can, when I can to "Be the Difference" I have been called on to be in this Life of mine. I am a feminine Feminist who loves being a womyn and can do whatever needs must be done. I have many Causes & Awareness of Issues that are near & dear to my heart that I support in whatever way I can.
I absolutelly Love to Learn, Read, Share, Nurture, Educate & Teach, Hang Out with Family & Friends and go to the Beach but not in full sunlight. My hubby swears I am mostly Vampire because I am a nocturnal creature for the most part. *shrugs & smiles*
I Crochet to relax, I meditate for relaxation too and I listen to music most all of the time, and am eclectic in my tastes. (I simply adore my MP3 player.)
I collect Quotes & Skeleton Keys, am constantly looking for DIY Info. so as to Fix-Up our Home Sweet Home aka "The Faery Cottage". My family & I hope to put in various Gardens and to have a Veggie Garden. Maybe raise a few chickens too. Cannot beat the taste of fresh eggs from free-range chickens. I love Crafts & Crafting and seek to expand my aptituides and abilities in many "crafty" areas. If I can I will share photos of some of my "loves" & projects sometimes.
Mostly I do a lot of Research for my various & ever Growing Interests and Delight-driven Interests also. And yes I Write Poetry & am Hoping to Finish some of my Short Stories.
(Must copy into word.doc what I scribbled in my numerous notebooks.)
And I really have hopes to get some of them published. I cannot say I have a distinct genre for I have ever been a square peg in a round world... so of course I remain some one & my writing some thing that defies any set category. I write what I know, what My Muses (wicked Imps they ever be) inspire in me to write and what I am Inspired by in My Life and so on.
I will state that I will forever seek to write from my Heart with honesty and openness, that I have a vast & eclectic Imagination and also I hope to eventually insert my love for & of things Steampunk as well as Neo-Victorian into at least some of my future poems & writings.

I may seem to mis-spell certain words but in actuality I tend to spell most words in the UK English way. Examples being: flavour, neighbour, utilise, .
Other words like wytch and womyn I spell with a "y" to distinguish as a Feminist way of spelling, thus differentiating it from the more typical patriarchal word useage, spelling, etc.
The only differences being the "y" I use in wyf and chyldren....for these are just peculiarities of my own in that I like the Olde English (archaic) Spelling.
(I never said I was either dull or normal. I admit to having a great many idiosyncracies.)
These diverse spellings are done not to irk anyone but because it is what is correct to & for me. It is part and parcel of whom and what I am and as I really do seek live ol' William's words as if they were engraved upon my heart & in my psyche of To thine own self be true...I am doing just that in that I am ever being true to the Self I am at that given moment in time. Seeing as I am forever changing, growing & evolving or one would hope I am!
And in response to those whom have asked me this question before:
Yes I really do speak most of the time just the way I write.
